Staff Software Engineer, Technical Lead

• Develop tools, libraries and methodologies to accelerate development and support and backend infrastructure
• Develop server side components for web applications in Java
• Assist, mentor, and lead other engineers in best practices, tools and techniques

• BS in Computer Science or related field, MS preferred
• 5+ years software design & development experience
• Excellent Core Java development skills
• Excellent grasp of software design paradigms, algorithms, and data structures
• Good grasp of IPC, DBMS concepts. MySQL and BerkeleyDb experience a plus
• Proficiency in software development tools and concepts (code style, source control, bug tracking etc)
• Proven technical troubleshooting experience
• Smart, motivated, self starter, with leadership potential

• Proficiency in Javascript, AJAX
• Fluency in at least one scripting language:  Python, Ruby, Bash, etc.
• Experience with UNIX/Linux system administration

Sr. Software Engineer, Server Side Java

• Design website icons, graphics, and overall theme
• Oversee website usability design and influence overall product outlook
• Assist and mentor other engineers in best practices, tools and techniques

• Fluent in use of computer graphic software tools
• Extensive experience with web 2.0 themes and design trends
• 3+ years graphics design experience
• Smart, motivated, self starter, with leadership potential

• Proficiency in HTML, Javascript, AJAX
